I think Volt would be an absolute princess about bubble baths after Realization. He couldn't take a full-on bath when he was electricity incarnate, especially with his hair, so he simply took joy in the rare occasions that Eddie allowed Volt to pamper him with a bath.
After Realization, Volt doesn't have to worry about electrocuting himself or Eddie. This time, Eddie is dragging Volt into the bath, and sure it might be a dirty play to strip naked in front of him, but you won't hear Volt complaining, and Eddie gets what he wanted, and Volt has remembered (again) that he doesn't need a shower cap anymore.
Volt finds that he really loves baths. Especially when he's tucked into Eddie's chest, Eddie's legs bracketing his own, with the sweet nothings Eddie is murmuring in his ear.
"You took care of me so well all those years, and it's time for me to return the favor."
"You're my strong protector, aren't you? And what a good job you do. You've earned this treat."
"You want another treat, hm? So insatiable you are, even without all that electricity running through you."
Not to mention the way Eddie touches him. Like they have all the time in the world (they do). Like Volt is the most precious thing (he is). Like Volt won't break like he used to, when his mask was fused to his face lest it slip and crack and reveal how the breaker box is truly faring. And when he finally does break, Eddie is there to mend him, continuing to murmur sweet things against his skin.
"So perfect."
"So pretty."
"Mine."
After that, Volt gets really into baths. Bath bombs, bubble bath, flower petals, candles, books, champagne, the works. Volt gives Eddie the most pathetic wet cat look, and Eddie builds him a little something for all his fancy bath supplies. And bajillion hair care products. Because you know Volt is going to have the longest hair care routine now that he can indulge in hair care.
