Eric x reader: information reference for myself and readers
This story will be told using elements from the books and the first movie. Eric's appearance will stay consistent with the movies, but his age will drop to 19.
(Like Eric being 24 while Four was 20 in the movies makes no sense because they were supposed to have initiation together lol)
Eric is 14 when he first met reader, and reader was 12. At 13 (Eric was 15) reader was temporarily taken back to Erudite for a while then returned to Amity. At 18, Eric joined Dauntless (reader is 16, 1 ½ year later reader is 18, and joins Dauntless. Eric is 19 in this story but will turn 20 after 2 months post initiation. Reader turned 18, 1 month before iniation.
(My guesstimation of months based off of wether in the books leads me to believe the Choosing Ceremony happens in January to start the new year. Reader will be implied to be born sometime in December-October. I have no idea what month Eric was born, so he is a 1 year and ½ older than reader and presumably born in late March-June)
This means post initiation, Eric will turn 20. Then in mid-winter, reader will turn 19.
Initiation would then be January to around early April/late March
