Tech has been a vampire for centuries, only drinking from those who say they want to die. But when he finds you grieving and sets out to make you his next victim, he finds that he wants nothing more than for you to live.
I blame Tumblr for this one! The above edit by @apocalyp-tech-a made my eyes go wide, @vimse got me thinking with this gorgeous post, and @anxiouspineapple99 keeps fueling my Halloween brain (I even snuck in one of your prompts, mwah-ha-ha)!
One by one, the “mourners” walked away, until it was only you and one of the town elders left beside the six neat piles of freshly disturbed clay. Tech watched as you knelt beside the grave of your youngest brother and placed your hand gently on the small mound. The elder spoke words of comfort, promising that you would be reunited with your family in the Force someday. “Someday very soon ,” Tech whispered with a hint of a smile. “I don’t want to live without them, good elder. I can’t. I wish I had died with them.” That was all Tech needed to hear.
