When I get into a show, movie, game, etc. I usually don't pay too much mind to what the creators or actors feel about their characters because I like to interpret them for myself. But I really enjoy hearing Walton Goggins talk about his roles, especially The Ghoul/Cooper Howard.
I think it's because he feels so much empathy for them. He engages with his craft in a similar way we do when we're creating art about these characters, and I don't know how common that is from an actor's perspective, but I love it. Listening to him talk about The Ghoul really feels like he's talking about someone he's studied and gotten to know in a personal and literary sense. It's beautiful and I think Fallout as a franchise is really lucky to have someone like him leading the charge. 💗
