Platonic? Plantonic. Platonic!

Erebus woke up to one too many pairs of legs thrown haphazardly across him. Normally he woke up to zero, which was standard, however on this particular night, a pair of small tan bare legs were trying to tangle themselves in between his own unsuccessfully. Tired dark eyes followed them over until he confirmed the sleeping form of Athos curled up in his bed, eyebrows knitting fitfully as he continued to try and bury himself deeper into the navigator’s warm chest.
It was typical of the fighter to confuse bunks - less so lately - but he wasn’t surprised to see him there seeing as this was a regular occurrence. Softly sighing into the room, Erebus checked the time before adjusting himself to accommodate the extra body for the next few hours. It was surprisingly early in the night, he must have crawled in just prior to him waking up, but he didn’t mind when Athos showed up, sleeping next to someone was always better, and their sleeping habits were similar enough that clinging to him wasn’t something bothersome.
Arms pulling the smaller closer, allowing his legs to rest where they could comfortably (the knit in his eyebrows softening immensely), Erebus considered the possibility of getting the key card for his room changed... but as Athos nuzzled his face into the crook of his neck, the thought quickly disappeared.
This wasn’t so bad.
Humming and half singing a few words of Who Could it Be Now by Men at Work, he lets himself inside Erebus' bunker, continues to sing while pointing at the -way- taller male and just sits on his bed, noticing the other was probably too busy working. He can wait.
Erebus had been so used to Athos coming in and out of his room before he left that he didn’t even notice him when he entered after being absent for so long. Reading over data points, something suddenly felt familiar, like deja vu, and he glanced up to see the small fighter pointing and humming a song at him.
He blinked for a second, thinking he was imagining things, and then pounced upwards, throwing the data pad to the side in his bed. Strong arms wrapped themselves around tiny shoulders and lifted him up in an unforgiving hug. Erebus’ arms then shot out so he could get a good look at him, head turning this way and that, turning Athos around in a playful way making sure everything on him was still intact.
He didn’t say anything - verbally OR on his communicator - but asked excitedly with his eyes where he’s been this whole time.
"Help me clean the bunker?"
Need a Favour?
Once a month, they agreed. Once every month they would do a proper sweep of the bunk and keel haul anything that either needed it or hadn’t been used for the past few months. It was basically the one way they managed to keep the bunker looking presentable while still being lazy shits.
And he hated it. Cleaning sucked no matter how much you had to do.
But a deals a deal, and Athos would probably end up doing it all by himself anyway if Porthos didn’t agree.
“Sure,” whine. “Where d’you wanna start?”
She waiting quietly, trying not to seem to eager, but every time a door slid open or a man’s voice could be heard, Eo would jump slightly with an excited and expectant look, only for it to quickly turn to disappointment.
She had gotten to the meeting place too early, far too excited to meet with him again, and she leaned against the wall playing with her boots against the cold metal floor. She couldn’t help but mumble under her breath, the nervousness in her heart making time move at a snails pace.
“Athos... where are you?”
@countdelaflu
He never seemed like a threat...in fact- Athos always appeared next to harmless in Helios’ book. Athos was a fighter though, so maybe it’s just a front? From what Helios heard Athos had never missed his target. That was definitely a reason for Helios to be thankful that the other fighter was on the same side. Still, it sorta bothered him that he seemed to got along so well with Selene but the two fighters never talked...When did Selene and Athos even become so friendly? “Just tell me that at least, Athos!” Realizing his outburst he quickly explained-kinda, “How did you and Selene even become friends?”
Officially initiates @countdelaflu into the Brosketeers.
Athos sits on Erebus' lap, quietly humming an Abba's song.
Erebus rests his head on Athos’ shoulder with his eyes closed listening to the small hums because he hasn’t been in the greatest mood lately and this is a very pleasant distraction from the reports he’s supposed to be looking over.
