Dragunity Oubliette

It's Dragunity vs the Ice Barrier Dragons! Otherwise titled: The Ice Barrier Dragons got a little unruly and had to be put in permanent time out by our good friend Areadbhair and Sacred Spirit of the Ice Barrier. The framing of this card is genuinely interesting. While there technically isn't any visible "seal" being created over these three dragons, Areadbhair's body completely encircles them along the card border, giving the illusion of entrapment. There's so much color variation and detail work happening in the limited space that is the pit here that it's a little tough to pick out the three individual dragons (well, four if you count Areadbhair). But at least there's a nice action shot of Brionac angrily falling in while being blasted with some pretty intense looking flames. I think the light particle effects shooting upwards and out are a little much and make the outer edges of the art busy like the interior, so it probably would've been better if they were left out.

(2) If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. (3) When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can add 1 “Parshath” card or 1 Counter Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. Maybe “Arch-Parshath, the Noble Airknight” for a TCG name to fit the naming pattern in the west?

Fairy Breath

This is genuinely one of the better anime only cards I've seen. With just a little upgrade to the quality on Ancient Fairy Dragon, this would transfer so well to an actual card. I do, however, feel like the illustration of fairy "breath" is maybe a little off. The yellow sonic boom effects seem to be coming from Fairy Dragon's wings, both due to the positioning and the fact that there's two distinct lines of them. There's no clear indication of any sort of breath-like particles or cloud and instead just a lot of (sick) speediness, particles of debris, and sparkles. So, while cool, maybe not the most accurate card art out there.

When she was out of sight Yuya materialised beside him. His transparent body invisible to the girl at the counter who was packing up for the day. Moments later he was joined by Yuri and Yugo, their expressions longingly looking in the direction of the girl’s quickly disappearing back. Yuto got up, dragging the floating forms of the other three behind him as he pushed the door open and headed out into the sunset washed street.
