So I've been trying really hard to place when The Adventures of the Lady Detective and the Writer takes place. I know the first story is before the Fall series, but around what season of Californication does it take place in?

I’d say they meet in London somewhere during Season 5 and Weekend in LA takes place early season 6.  The storyline in season 7 is so offensively, jump-the-shark terrible, that it doesn’t happen in my universe, except for maybe the last 5 minutes of the last episode, so by the time of Reconnect, he has moved to NY with Karen and it didn’t work out...again.

Lust and Envy for the 7 Deadly Sins Headcanons?

Lust: a headcanon about your character’s romantic and/or sexual life  Caitlin Swift was attracted to Matthew Judge long before she feel in love with him or even tolerated his presence in her life and almost found it irritating that he was also quite charming and genuinely interested in her.

Envy: a headcanon about your character’s secret desires and jealousies  Susan’s jealous of Rose, beyond the the whole sleeping with her husband thing (and really moreso), because Rose knows what she wants out of life, to be an actress and has been dreaming and striving and struggling to achieve that.  Up until she and Jackson arrived in Whitechapel, Susan had nothing to really dream about - even freedom from her father’s control seemed impossible until it happened, and so she doesn’t know how to work toward attaining a goal so much as simply taking what she wants.
