Hello Again || countgailardia
It was a quiet day. Or a boring one if Sync were to be more specific. He sat in the library, study materials spread out over a large desk. Finals were coming up and he wasn’t at all prepared. But he just didn’t care. Tapping his pencil on the desk, his eyes wandered to stare out the nearby window.
He peaked away from the window, noticing a boy on the other side of the library looking in his direction. “What...?” he mumbled quietly, noticing how the boy looked as if he had seen a ghost, both in surprise and a hint of melancholy. It was strange but Sync brought his attention back to the book in front of him. It was hard to concentrate when every time he looked up he could see a pair of familiar blue eyes staring back at him. Where had he seen those before?
Frustrated and rather embarrassed, he got to his feet. He made his way in the boy’s direction, hoping to confront him in some way. “Hey...” he said to him, sounding a bit grumpy. “Is there a reason for all of this?”
countgailardia said: Guy shook his head, although he couldn’t help a chuckle. Sync somehow still had some fight left in him and Guy found it mildly entertaining. “I… suppose so. Do you think it was worth it though?”
Sync furrowed his eyebrows. “Of course it was worth it. He was being an asshole,” Sync answered as if that completely justified fighting someone as hard as he had fought. “I wouldn’t go through with it if it weren’t worth it.”
((Someone needs to stop me from rereading all of these old threads because i realized that the 2 year time skip thread we did was probably my favorite ever and I would freaking love to add on to that one I’m such a loser))
((I was reading through old threads that I had with Julia and when i say old threads I mean like over a year ago, thread where Sync first decides to move in with Guy. And there was this one reply Julia wrote and it made my heart flutter and help me it’s 3 am and all I want is cute fluff))
((I have no regrets for the things I write for Julia tbh))
((Sync is the best boyfriend))
countgailardia replied to your post “You don't even know me.”
Guy didn't respond to Sync's touch. He sighed, thinking of how tired he was. He should have just stopped talking a long time ago. "I'm just... not as amazing as you think I am. I don't think I ever was."
Sync shook his head, stepping forward and pressing his forehead to the center of Guy’s chest. “I don’t care if you’re amazing or not. I just want you to be you. You’ve treated me like no one else ever has. You’ve showed me that I’m not as worthless as I once thought. If anything, you’re more amazing than I could ever hope to be. All I want is for you to be happy. I guess I’m... not doing as good of a job of that as I thought....”
