42. Is your life anything like it was two years ago?
No, definitely not. I was a disaster back then. I was so, so, so lost & so very uncomfortable in my own skin. I just didn’t know what I wanted out of my life and I didn’t feel like I belonged anywhere. I recall bawling into the carpet and praying for something greater to save me from my self-destructive impulses. It took me a very, very, very long time to feel “at home” with myself and to understand that shutting everyone out isn’t part of the process of finding yourself.
