Still Star-Crossed is down AGAIN after last night’s episode (2.29 to 1.97 to 1.61 million).
If we want any more than just the first season, we need to make sure that we’re all watching, live tweeting, streaming on HULU & ABC, commenting on Youtube, reviewing on IMDB, spreading the word by mouth even.
I will cry if this show gets cancelled, so PLEASE stop sleeping on it.
We all know that the get down was one of netflix’s most expensive originals to produce, apparently the same was true about sense8 with respect to all the on location filming they did and @aiharakotoko mentioned that still star crossed might be the most expensive pilot that ABC has ever shot. so this repeated narrative about costly productions combined with low viewership forcing titles into early cancellation is really starting to make me wonder:
WHY THE FUCK DO THESE NETWORKS/STUDIOS KEEP POURING SO MUCH MONEY INTO THE CREATION AND FILMING OF THESE SHOWS AND NOT REALIZING THAT THEY NEED TO BRING THAT SAME GODDAMN ENERGY WITH THE PROMO AND ADVERTISING??????????? WHY DO OTHER SHOWS ON THE SELF SAME FUCKING NETWORKS RECEIVE EXHAUSTIVE AD NAUSEUM PROMO CAMPAIGNS TO THE POINT OF BECOMING IRRITATING??????????? IF PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOUR SHOW THEY CAN’T WATCH IT????????? YOU CAN SPEND AS MUCH MONEY AS YOU LIKE ON THEM BUT WITHOUT A SUBSTANTIAL AD CAMPAIGN PEOPLE WON’T KNOW YOUR SHOW EXISTS?????????? THIS IS BASIC TELEVISION AND SHOW-RUNNING??????????????????
