Dreamnotkarlnap au with prince George, knight Dream, criminal Sapnap and Scholar Karl—

Aka, Dream and sap are childhood friends living under a tyrant king. Dream has to go off to be a knight to pay off a family debt or smth, and sapnap is left to become a thief to survive. He eventually starts looking into rebel groups, joining one, and meets Karl, a scholar for the crown working against it in secret.

Dream as a knight doesn’t really like the king but he needs his job, and gets rlly good at it to the point that he’s appointed to be the prince’s personal guard, and he sees first hand how poorly the king acts and treats his youngest son, Prince George. He develops a vehement hatred for the king and vows to protect George from everything.

Meanwhile, sap asks Karl if he had any way to get into contact with Dream, and old friend of his that’s now a knight, who used to hate the crown. Karl does, and befriends Dream in a ploy to figure out if he’s for or against the crown.

Cue all of them getting involved in a coup which puts George on the thrown as a king, and in the meantime they all fall in love :) <3

Anna was panting as they turned the corner.

She had always been an active girl - jumping around the castle and climbing onto rooftops when she got bored - but she really never had to run quite like this before. It hurt her legs, her feet, her chest as she heaved, but he kept pulling her, kept her moving, never let her stop until he knew they were safe.

She didn’t know what was happening, didn’t know why his body was pressed so closely to hers as he leaned her against a wide tree and slipped his hand over her mouth. “Be quiet,” he whispered, sharp and biting as she mumbled against his skin.

She didn’t have a choice but to listen to him, did she?

Nodding as he leaned close enough to feel his breath on her skin, Anna tried her best to bite down the flush that was spreading to her cheeks. It wasn’t that she was boy crazy or anything... she just had never been this close to one before. And he was distracted, listening and watching for anything suspicious, not paying her any mind...

So she indulged herself in looking at him - his freckled, broad nose, slightly scrunched in frustration; his defined jaw, flexing as he clenched his teeth behind chapped lips; and his eyes, soft and deep brown, reflecting honey golds as the sun shone through the leaves above them. He was the kind of handsome you didn’t find in princes.

Anna thought she might prefer it.

After a few minutes, he slowly moved his hand from her mouth, freeing her to whisper softly to him. “Are we safe?”

He shook his head and sighed, both of his hands resting on either side of her head, now. “Not yet. But, listen -”

“I know a place nearby --”

“No way, princess.” There was clear disdain in his words. “I broke my rules for you. And that means I’m calling all the shots.”

“I broke my rules for you.”

The Coup AU

An au where between the events of the second and third episode of the owl house Kikimora coups Belos {there was a outside intervention by the golden guard} After that she blames Eda for the Emperors death {He isnt realy dead} and purges half of the covens including some members of the emperors coven {lilith and Steve barely escaped} Few days later Luz and King meet a Man with many scars across his body...You can guess who the man is.

“Don’t be afraid.”

Hmmmmm. Dont know what this is either lol. :^) some sort of… …. god i dont know !!! …. it was fun to write tho.

Anna couldn’t catch her breath. Her lungs were burning, her legs screaming at her to please take a break, but she couldn’t, she could not stop until the gunshots were out of earshot and she knew she was safe. The revolution was beginning. She understood, she did, but she watched her father fall, watched her sister unleash a magic no one knew she had, and screamed in protest as her mother shoved her out through the hidden passageway, urging her to run and not to stop.

She didn’t know if either of them was still alive.

A canon rang out, loud enough and close enough to still shake the ground beneath her feet. She stumbled, falling to her knees, and was struggling to find the strength to get back up. Get up, Anna. Get up, god damn it. 

The revving of a motorcycle was the only thing that made her move, crawling as quickly as she could behind a tree to catch her breath. Just one moment, just one. She could catch her breath while the cyclist passed, and then she could continue, off the road this time.

But they didn’t pass. They stopped. And the man got off of his bike, toeing at the ground before pulling a gold chain from the dirt. 

Anna wrapped her fingers around her neck and swallowed.

His head turned immediately in her direction as he lifted goggles to his forehead before adjusting the mask that covered over his nose.

She had to run for it. The trees would be too thick for him to follow her on the bike. She would be able to squeeze into small areas his broad shoulders couldn’t maneuver.

She could do this.

She could.

She did.

There was about a half-second delay before she heard him yell out a “Hey! Stop!” and then heard the crunch of his heavy boots through the dirt and foliage on the ground. 

It only took him fifteen seconds to catch up to her.

She was so stupid.

“Hey, hey!” He grabbed her hand, pulling her to a stop, and as she whipped around to look at him he held his hands up in defense.

“Don’t be afraid,” he mumbled, reaching up to his mask. “I’m here to help.”
