“Come on Spencer! Are you seriously yelling at me when I was just in the middle of a fucking shootout?!”

You and Spencer had just gotten into your hotel room for the night since the jet wasn’t ready to go yet after catching the unsub. Though catching him wasn’t easy. The unsub decided to start shooting at you while trying to escape which resulted in you getting shot twice in the arm and once near your abdomen. You had your vest on though so really the bullet left you a nasty bruise and took you off your feet which honestly left you pretty battered. But you did catch him.

But Spencer wasn’t too happy about that since he was overprotective over his significant other. “Yeah I am yelling at you! What you did was stupid you should’ve waited for backup Y/N”

“It was either wait for backup and risk letting the unsub get away! I did what I had to do you would’ve done the same and you know-“

“But you could’ve called me to help! You called Alvez instead!”

“This is what you’re mad about? That I didn’t call you and I called Luke instead!! Spencer this is ridiculous. I called for backup randomly I didn’t exactly have time to look for your name!”

“That’s not the point I’m your boyfriend not him I should’ve been the first person you called! I should’ve been there you could’ve gotten hurt”

You felt bad but at the same time who you called didn’t determine who you thought was significant

“Spence please try to understand I would’ve called you but I was getting shot at I was kind of distracted. I don’t understand Spencer this is sort of ridiculous you’re my boyfriend I love you and Luke he’s one of my closest friends”

“No that isn’t it Maeve would’ve never called him for help she would’ve called me matter of fact she wouldn’t have been stupid to go into danger by herself! She thought things through unlike you!!”

To say you were shocked was an understatement. You knew who Maeve was, Spencer had told you after you guys had started to date but he always reassured you that he loves you. He’d never lashed out at you like this before.

“Wow.” You scoffed. You could see that he regretted those words as soon as they left his pink lips.

“Y/N wai-“ you cut him off. “I’m going to stay with Emily and JJ tonight” You had already started to take your go bag and were out the door. “B-but they only had two beds-“

“I’d rather sleep on the floor than be here right now. Have a goodnight Reid” The words were harsh as they left your mouth and you knew that but you couldn’t feel the guilt at the moment all you could feel was anger and betrayal.

Spencer knew that he messed up bad when you had called him ‘Reid’ and you NEVER called him Reid. And as the door was slammed by you all he could feel was guilt and thought how he would fix this.
