My OC Couples
Post made as an offshoot of my character list. Gonna list all my in-game characters and their relevant relationships. Sorry for the many [see above], but helps with clarity.
Aurelia (pansexual homoromantic) Ardea - Fahrar sweethearts and close from the moment they met. Mates for almost two decades until her death. Obsius helped them have cubs (Adamas and unborn cub). Ellara - Current mate. Close friends and mutually interested for 8 years, but grief kept Aurelia from acting on it.
Adamas (pan) Farka - Sort of mutual crush, went nowhere. She was the one who treated him the best in the Guard warband, and he was someone she got along with better than expected, so she helped him escape out of pity. Maeveryl - Current mate. Met during an intel exchange between Whispers and Priory, became friends and eventually confessed during the campaign of Orr, after Adamas nearly died during the Battle of Fort Trinity. Deryn - Current mate. Met in S4, immediate interest on both sides, Mae pushed them together. Had two cubs (Iridis and Diane)
Tocchix (demisexual panromantic) Poffi - Mutual crush, she died before anything happened beyond a botched confession. Iotta - Ex-girlfriend, but never really broke things off officially beyond her leaving to return to the Inquest. Lots of complex feelings about it, then she died, was reawakened, he was the one to put an end to her suffering in Kourna. Huki - Current partner, adopted two orphans (names pending)
Maeveryl (asexual panromantic) Morwen - Saplinghood sweetheart, remained best friends until her death. Leif (Hel's cousin) - Sort of ex-boyfriend he converted to the Sons of Svanir before they formally started dating. They had to kill him to save Adamas in Bjora. Adamas - Current mate. [see above] Deryn - Platonic partner (angle poly). Was okay with her pursuing Adamas's affections from pretty much the start.
Hel (lesbian) Sieran - Mutual crush, too shy to do something about it, then she died and Hel got a complex about bringing her back to life by any means necessary. Keisha - Ex. Met in Elona as Hel happened to be useful to get her sister out of Vabbi, dated briefly before she was branded on the way to Amnoon. Nari - Current girlfriend. Met in Cantha, they often have to travel as representatives for their respective people, so try to do so together.
Ellara (lesbian) Circe - Ex-mate, fahrar sweethearts, together until she died during a mission in Flame territory. Aurelia - Current mate [see above].
Bunnie (pansexual demiromantic) Jikke - Ex-partner. First "proper" relationship in College, but emotional immaturity and heavy personal baggage on either side ended up with her dumping him and him leaving Rata Sum. Reconnected in the Pact, now are friends with benefits (along with his partner Usha). Flom - Ex-boyfriend. Dated briefly, as they hit it off greatly, but he messed up right away and she broke things off. Now in the same pod. Nuvly - Ex-girlfriend and current QPP. Bunnie liked her from before they became friends, her joke-offer to be her first dating experience was accepted, then they switched to being "cuddlefriends" after Nuvly found out she's not that attracted towards feminine people. Farka - Current girlfriend, managed to get Farka out of her shell, Farka made her an honorary member of her warband. [note: she sleeps around a lot so I'm cutting her list here lol]
Ethanryel (asexual aromantic) Grace - One-directional crush from her. They were willing to give it a go out of platonic love, but she died.
Deryn (pan) Adamas - Current mate. [see above] Maeveryl - Platonic partner (angle poly). [see above]
Markus (bi) Fynn - Current boyfriend, best friends and Kai - Current girlfriend, she was convinced he was dating Fynn for two years before the truth came out. Had a daughter (name pending)
Iotta (pansexual demiromantic) Tocchix - Ex-boyfriend [see above]
Poffi (demisexual biromantic) Tocchix - Ex-mutual crush [see above]
Daunte (gay) Verge - Fahrar sweethearts, had an open relationship until Verge and the rest of their warband died and Daunte left the Legions. Hagan - Situationship. Started as rivalry and mutual dislike when he joined the Vigil, then evolved by chance into something more playful but hard to define. By the time of Daunte's self-sacrifice in Maguuma, it was more caring than either would admit.
Hagan (pan) Gretna (Hel's sister) - Childhood sweethearts and current mate, he decided to break things up for her safety as he feared Sons of Svanir would target her if he stayed after he had to kill his own corrupted brother. Reconnected in IBS and rekindled the feelings that never left. Had a child (name pending). Daunte - Ex-situationship [see above] Gaell - Ex-boyfriend. Sort of a rebound fling for both, one that overstayed its welcome as they didn't work well together yet was easy comfort. Eventually mended their friendship. Flom - Current boyfriend. He was tasked with taking care of the demon-infested asura as he didn't fear his panic outbursts, and with time they grew fond of one another, eventually started dating.
Flom (pan) Bunnie - Ex-partner [see above] Hagan - Current boyfriend [see above] Nuvly - Immediate crush on his side, was convinced he had no chance with her so he focused on his other crush on Hagan, ignoring she was growing fonder of him over time. After Nuvly got badly injured during IBS, Zar'gol made him fumble his way into confessing to her. Had one progeny (name pending).
Alyt (het) Quazz (Tocchix's father) - College boyfriend. They were best friends who agreed to date until they graduated in order to remain focused. After losing contact a bit due to work, she became practically part of the family after Quazz and his wife Wixxa helped her during recovery. She ended up being Tocchix's unofficial "aunt". Favian Sharpmark - Current mate. His research party hired her for help and she ended up joining the Priory after he asked her to keep working with him, then started dating later on.
Farka (asexual biromantic) Adamas - Sort of ex-mutual crush. [see above] Bunnie - Current partner. [see above]
Rhys (pan) Maolmuire - One of his many flings, with a bunch of drama tied to it all. Damyan - Current on-off situationship. Neither cares to elaborate, and he's the only still-living person who got a hint of what they are.
Nytum (lesbian) Morwen - Ex-love interest, never got to the point of dating before Nytum joined the Nightmare Court and appointed her as her "prey" to bring to Nightmare so that they could be together. Chandler - One-directional crush from him, ended badly as he took revenge on her after years of being ignored by her despite being her Knight. Maolmuire - Current girlfriend. Knew each other from before Nytum turned to Nightmare, Maolmuire accepted to take care of her and teach her the merchant trade during her recovery, ended up falling for each other.
Lenorey (unclear) Veeq - Current girlfriend. Sometimes studying a consensual test subject with a particular genetic quirk relevant to your research leads to more than what you expected, and then you discover you're fine with it.
Veeq (bisexual) Lenorey - Current partner. [see above]
Bob (gay) Renyak - Years-long unrequited crush. Mostly got bullied, his friends told him so but he couldn't really see it.
Gareth (het) Morwen - Ex-girlfriend. Met her during their time as Wardens and joined the Pale Reavers in the Pact. He killed her after he fell to Mordremoth's call. Eurys - Current girlfriend. She sought him out after seeing him in her Dream, and eventually affection bloomed.
Eurys (bisexual heteromantic) Gareth - Current boyfriend. [see above]
Zehmik (gay) Plenn - Ex and current boyfriend. Met in Lion's Arch and made plans together, but he had to hide in the Mist War as the Inquest wanted him dead and he feared for Plenn's and his sister's safety. After two decades he dared to return to Tyria, tagged along Aurelia more than he should have, and ended up finding Plenn again in the Astral Ward. [note: there were plenty of flings while in the Mists, plus regular encounters with a brothel worker (turned friend) before Plenn. None really mattered to Zehmik.]
Nari (lesbian) Hel - Current girlfriend. [see above]
Vesska (pan) Trahearne - Boyfriend. Courted him for most of the Orr campaign before they started dating. Saved him at the end of HoT, but he fell into exponentially longer periods of slumber, slowly transforming into a Scion of both Mordremoth and Zhaitan. Caithe - Situationship. Neither wants to define it, but there's comfort in it Braham - Boyfriend. Originally a one-directional crush on the norn's side and after much drama, in IBS their feelings are healthy enough to give it a go. Yao and Rama - Crush, mutual and mostly one-directional. Neither got far due to the End.
