It's an antique ray lens. My grandpa was into astronomy and building telescopes.
That is so cool! Yet I can't help wondering why the curator of the exhibition didn’t come to think of adding that tiny detail...as I am sure I and athena-noctua-bubo were not the only ones with dirty minds!
