The goddess looked at the remains of The Surface world in front of her, a small frown evident on her lips. She had saved her people and kept the Triforce safe, but there had also been much destruction and various deaths from the war, including the one of her own hero. "...Why..? Why must I be subject to all this pain..and sorrow..? I was put here to protect the land and its inhabitants, but look at it now.. All that remains are a few creatures of each race except for the humans and Hylians.. I sent them skyward..' she bit her lip slightly. "I feel I have failed my duty to protect this place..and..I even caused the death of an innocent Hylian, m..my hero...Link..." she choked out his name as tears began to prick the corners of her eyes. "I used him..I used to wield the Master Sword and stand up against the Demon King, but..it cost him his own life.." she glanced down at the ground, tears now rolling down her cheeks. "I don't deserve the title of 'Goddess' anymore.." her ears drooped as her bangs covered her eyes, tears still streaming down them. "And I..I never got to tell him..my hero..that..that I loved him.." she said softly, her voice fading slightly as her shoulders shook slightly from her sobbing.
