                          【Ａ】 small smile that was barely noticeable appeared on                    her lips. So she was right with her assumptions, or at least somewhat close.                    Mae really wasn’t one to generalize based on appearances, knowing that                    everyone had their own stories to tell, but she couldn’t just help feeling as                   though this girl had quite a tale to tell. Maybe she would tell her in the future,                   or maybe she would never know and this would be their last meeting. Guess                                                      she would have to wait and see.

                  ❝ Anything you want.                     Just please s-stop stealing                                around here, k-kay?❞

                  She walked the other towards the area where most of the food stands were.                   Anything from funnel cakes to ice cream, from burgers to bentos, they probably                  had anything someone could desire right now. Mae had a lot of money with                                            her anyway so she didn’t mind spending it on this girl.

                      HER STORY WAS CERTAINLY one that might be considered            fascinating.    It just wasn’t the sort of story that she wanted to go sharing right            off the bat.    Trust was something she struggled with, both wanting to give her            feelings to others and wanting to avoid them at all costs.       But she preferred            that people knew she was the result  of being abandoned rather than any other            sort of assumption they might make.     Being looked at as a runaway or a drug            dealer or a failed mother…  Those made her hurt.  Made her angry.

                                              The other’s request had her chewing her lip.                        Cat sighed.  The other just wanted her not to steal around                        here?   She could do that… but she wouldn’t stop stealing                        in general.

                                         “…Okay.”

                                   Following along, the scent of different foods in the air made her           stomach begin to growl eagerly.  She chewed her lip, thankful that it might end           soon with this other’s help.     Because food was incredible… and she was also           just starving.     Easing up on her lip, she wound her fingers together before her           eyes glanced back to her companion.

                                                         “Kay,” she muttered, though                                       there was a part of her ready to mention                                       that she wasn’t one to mess with, either.

                         【Ａ】 sigh of relief, then a smile. Mae was                    glad that the other agreed to her request without further                   question. Some people out here were not so agreeable. She                   walked over to the stands and bought a combo plate with rice                   and different types of bbq. She handed it to the other alone with                         a few extra dollars

                      ❝ H-here... I have to go work now,                       but stay safe alright? If you need                              anything, ask for Mae. ❞
