Can't believe this happened. For those that know me, I left Toronto 2.5 years ago to start a new life in Montreal. I made some bad choices that I paid consequences for and saw this as my opportunity to start again. I literally was in the dark side and I had to see some light. While my sisters always told if it didn't work out you could always come back, that wasn't an option for me. I started putting endless hours into my craft. It was a struggle at first, but great things started happening. It was my surroundings and my support system that kept me going. I'm so happy that I got a chance to prove to myself that I can actually be somebody and live a positive life. It was a real struggle but if I look back at it now, I don't think I would have it any other way. Special shoutout to @akalya6 who was so persistent that I enter the nomination and attend the interviews. Thank you @Gary_Srp for the speech - you seen the whole process all the way from university days. To @Lebaraksa for flying down from England to give me this award. 🙏 to Ajith who's the President of @Ctcc for the President Award. This really gave me the boost to continue to do what I love to do. To my parents who dealt with my bullshit growing up LOL. 🙌🏽 to my siblings @synthiga @prashanna and @tjayaseelan who have been my backbone from day 1. Shoutout to all my friends who have been supporting my every step of the way since I moved. Big shoutout to all the creative people out there who continue to pursue their passion no matter what anyone tells them. Especially people in my culture where our parents wants us to be either a doctor, lawyer or engineer. That's not what makes us happy, we think differently. Thank you all for continuing to do so. Finally, big thank you to all of you , everyone that's liked my picture, commented, shared, or given me a chance, this award happened because of you. #PresidentsAward #Ctcc #thaddeus2016 #barberlife #ootd #fashion #LV #SUNDAY #CourageousHeartPin #suit #BARBER (at Toronto, Ontario)
