We were having an amazing summer. I called to confirm my plans with Jazzmin. I vividly remember the way she casually whispered that she'd found a lump in her breast. I remember when the results were in - #september7th 💔I was the one who said "no tears" and then cried a river -but never in front of her. At a later date when I was slippin' she would remind me of my words "you said no tears Sis." I remember when she asked me to go to her first chemo treatment with her. I was just happy to be by her side instead of in NYC worried and stressing. I seriously considered asking my job to extend my hardship transfer for a year so I could be there throughout her treatment. Thank God for FaceTime! She went through so much, chemotherapy, surgeries, radiation, etc. She #courageously fought the unknown. I'm so happy #shewon A year ago my Sis received news no one ever wants to hear.
