Megan tagged me. And, she's one of my new favorite blogs to follow so I'm playing along...
1. What is the #1 most played song on your iPod? Right now, Justin Timberlake "Mirrors". In life, Eric Church "Hell on the Heart" and American Aquarium "Ain't going to the Bar Tonight"
2.If you could remain any age forever, what age would you chose and why? 21. That summer, my newly acquired best friend from college moved to just north of North Myrtle Beach, SC [Little River, SC]. Other than my childhood memories and a good few in different years of college… That was the absolute happiest time of my life. I only lived there for 3 months but, I even tried to transfer to Coastal and find an apartment the last month so I would never have to leave. I would've lost too many credits and my parents were still supporting me as a college student mainly [my entire education was paid for through scholarships] but my mom threw a fit so I went back to Campbell to finish.
3. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A Veterinarian.
4. What's the last book you read that made you cry? I cry a lot when I read. I like a good cry with my books. Probably most recently, Captivating by John & Stasi Eldredge
5. Whats your favorite guilty-pleasure chain restaurant? Anything italian [All the delicious carbs!] But specifically, a place called Bravo's. It's amazing.
6. Have you ever traveled to a place and enjoyed it, but couldn't imagine living there? If so, where? My family and I go on a family vacation every year. When we were little it was always Topsail Island, the location of our family beach house. Now, my parents have gotten on this kick that they want to visit every state in the USA. Last year we went to New Orleans. I was blessed for the experience and amazed at everything: the music, the culture, the FOOD!, the history. But, It's one of the cities thus far, I would not imagine staying in for very long.
7. Were you named after someone? If so, who? If not, do you know how your parents decided on your name? I was named after my Daddy. My parents chose not to learn the sex of the baby when they were having me. If I had a been a boy, my name would've been Daniel. Side Note: Since I was the first born…EVERYONE in my family wanted me to be a boy including my mother. Sorry for the let down folks(:
8. Did you ever have a crush on a teacher growing up? DEETS! Duh. Who didn't? If you didn't, I apologize for your teenage years. Mine was my middle school 8th grade biology teacher. He was Canadian and beautiful! Mr Parsons. He gave me the nickname, ShortStack when I was in his class. I think I blushed so much that year, people probably thought I had rosasha. We're Facebook friends now. He's still beautiful. He travels the world, riding in fundraising biking events and still teaching. *Swoon*
9. What was the first thing you bought with your own money? Hmm… I didn't start working til I was old enough to have a car and a license. I think probably the first thing I bought with my money was probably gas for my car, and an iPod.
10. What's something you do now that 16-year-old you would have said, "That's for OLD people… I'll never be THAT old!"? Probably, drink coffee. I never acquired the taste for coffee until I got out of college.
