Course Reflection
This semester I was introduced to new writers I had not had the privilege to read yet. I think the most significant part of this course was seeing how discussion about topics I had already formed opinions on made an impact on my views. I think in this class i was able to see others react differently to readings and understand different viewpoints. For things like the street harassment, I was particularly interested in the fact that others have never felt harassed before. I was also more informed on the BLM movement.
I will continue in feminist struggle, chicana feminist struggle, through my GWS major. I am able to work with a non profit that tries to remove stigma for sexuality. I am also going let my revolution start at home and continue to consume media and life critically. I am planning on trying to start my own blog, possible refine my writing in order to try add to the Chicana stories being told.
