After the tire blew in #CanyonlandsNPS I went to #Moab to see if I could get a replacement (there was none) so I explored the area. I have never taken the time to actually go up to the #CourthouseWash #Pictograph to see it up close. In the 1980s a vandal went at it with paint thinner and a wire brush. They are #BarrierCanyon style pictographs by archaic period of #NativeAmerican settlement of the west, same as the #GrandGallery of #HorseshoeCanyon. It can be seen from the highway north of Moab, right before you cross the bridge into town. (at Arches National Park)
