Sunday, September 23 - Cousins Subs
In 1995, Dan Harmon starred in a Cousins Subs employee training video. (Cousins is a Wisconsin chain, mostly in the Milwaukee metro area. I know this because there's one less than 3 miles from my house.) The guy in the glasses is Harmon collaborator Rob Schrab.
Harmon's comment, when the video was brought to his attention on Twitter: "Customer service is NO LAUGHING MATTER"

Anyway, Cousins Subs' motto is "Better bread, better subs." Sounds a lot like Papa John's "Better ingredients, better pizza." Here's the kicker: the bread at Cousins wasn't even that good. I enjoyed my dinner...but come on...
While I was there I heard this song. Which reminded me of this. Which was awesome. Here's to 80s radio stations at fast food restaurants.
I have the second round of tryouts for Machine tomorrow. I'm only nervous because my hamstring is still all jacked up, I don't actually feel nervous or anxious about making the cut. I didn't think I'd make it this far. So. I just hope my leg doesn't limit me.
