I'm fascinated by the cultural impact of Pinocchio and just had to do an illustration for it. Originally a cautionary tale about disobedience and bad behavior, it has inspired numerous adaptations that continue to provoke discussion about the nature of obedience and morality. These conversations are shaped by changing political and social climates, highlighting how principles of right and wrong evolve over time.
Illustration I painted for 'The Rebis: The Star' based on the tarot card. I was very intrigued by the idea of space and the universe being an abundant jungle with many different species of 'plant stars'

This was painted with acrylic and touched up with prismacolor. It was a poster made for our homemade mead. I loved the idea of our mead as 'potions' and was playing around with the idea of naming our own brewery if we had one and came up with 'Wicked Apothecary'. Thus! This piece was born. I'm so proud of it! It's always fun to make up dream projects for yourself as an artist during your downtime. :)
