I've gotten a couple of new products and figure I should probably share because I really like them! Looking for a make-up primer? Use Milk of Magnesia!! With a facial (wedge) sponge, apply a light film over moisturized skin for an all-day set. If your face is oily, like mine, this will work wonders for your T-zone and other problematic areas. I've been using it since learning about it at my best friend's wedding in June and one $5ish bottle has done wonders for my face (all natural) and my wallet. It's not even 1/2 done! And I have cut down on using my translucent powder by at least 50% because my face doesn't get as oily. Looking for a way to cut down on using paper and a way to better organize your work? Try the GoodNotes app for Apple products. It works great for an iPad. I can create folders within the app for all my classes and download articles and documents from emails to keep them organized. Within the app I can highlight, take notes and various other helpful things. Speaking of class and my iPad mini... This thing is one of the best purchases I've made in awhile. I've used it almost every day since I bought it in February. It's almost my new computer. I can basically do everything I need to do on it. And with Google Drive, I have access to almost all my files so I don't really need a USB port. My next new product is a bluetooth keyboard and detachable case for my iPad mini from CoverBot. I bought it on Amazon for about $40 and got it today. I immediately ripped open the package (didn't even wait to get back in my apartment from the mailbox lol) and started to put it together. My iPad is really like a computer now! I'm so excited to use it in class! Lol! It's sleek and doesn't add too much weight or bulk to the iPad. One more product: rosewater. Abby put me up on it as a great antiseptic for our locs and scalp. After doing my budget for the semester I realize I have to cut down on a lot of things (angry face) so maybe I can't get my hair done every 3-4 weeks. I don't know how I'll manage not having my parts immaculate and my tresses in some intricate style every week but spraying my scalp with rosewater seems to be keeping it clean and fresh. I had that last style in for only about 2 weeks and my scalp was itching sooo bad. When I took it down I sprayed my hair and scalp with rosewater, then sprayed it with oil and shit is like brand new! I've also heard that rosewater can be used as a toner for the face. Gotta try that, too. That's all for now. If I feel like it, I'll post pictures of these things as reference. :-)
