I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a great artist, but I wanted to design a cover for “Lord of the Flies” by William Golding (inspired by the Penguin Modern Classics) so here it is! I might turn this into a series so I’ll open my ask box if anyone has any suggestions (they don’t have to be classics)!
They’ll be under #coverredesign if you want to check!
[ID: A sketchpad is in front of a window, at the bottom of the sketchpad is written “William Golding” in red and “Lord of the Flies” in black. At the top right-hand corner of the sketchpad, “classics” is written in red pen. In the centre of the sketchpad is a watercolour painting of a blue sky which fades into sand. There is a large grey conch shell which has drawings of campfires, palm trees, hunters and pigs on its ridges. A pair of shattered, round glasses lies on the sand.]
