Paperclip Magick!
Yeah, this is a thing. Paperclips have a myriad of uses in magickal work, but I like them mainly because of how inconspicuous they are. They come in a variety of colours, which allows for nice colour symbolism. And, for those of you who hate using synthetic materials, they’re metal.
Just today in fact I used a small paperclip as a protection charm. I did a tiny chant, designated it as a ‘protection charm’, some visualisation, all the basics. After that all I had to do was attach it to my shirt pocket.
You can also use them for other things, like using a paper clip to keep the pages of a big essay together (staples work too, really), and enchant the paperclip with ‘see my great insight into the text’). So yeah. Paperclip Magick.
