I kind of doubt this will work but Hi! My roommate has COVID 19 and I’ve been exposed.

She’s feeling really sick and I really want to make a chicken noodle soup tomorrow but the only vegetables we have right now are potatoes. Due to my own exposure and chronic illness I can’t go myself and will have to order our groceries which none of us can really afford right now.

"The new bill, named the Emergency Money for the People Act is being introduced by Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, and Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif.

That would be amazing, bring us back to teacher levels of income, and would help so much with some long-needed house repairs. I know exactly where that money would go and it would boost the economy so much. With that much, I could help out others as well, because while it seems like a lot to me, I don't have to think very long to come up with situations where more would be needed. Single parents for example. Or those with medical debt. People with out good, stable living conditions.
