Nurture is something sincerely lacking in our society. Something about wealth inequality leading to houses where both parents have to work 50 hours a week just to get by, coming home exhausted and completely possessed by the stresses of living paycheck to paycheck and unable to model with enough effect for kids who begin their lives as latchkey from the moment they start schooling with other latchkey kids who come from homes without models of intellect, reason, emotional maturity themselves... and then simply model from their peers a mode totally poisoned by a now expanded and lengthened social hierarchy that takes place both in the halls and online, never abating for a single moment, blasting peer pressure on a scale and spectrum analog generations couldn't possibly comprehend, a 24/7 cycle of material and psychological abuse both extent and internal, a cycle unable to be broken by teachers now paid more to be babysitters than to be educators, a cycle unable to be broken by parents who barely have enough left to self care let alone take care of their babies who, everyone knows, just need a little time and a little affection and a little guidance. But the job, you see, and the financial requirements, and the health insurance requirements, and the car, and the hopeless hope in the American Dream. #covidography #thisiswhatweneed #coloradogram #endlessruminations #whathappened #wherewewentwrong #mybabies #society #safetynet #failure #loveofafailedfather #allapologies https://www.instagram.com/p/B_LHUgqF068/?igshid=mlepq03dhbi7
