It's dumbfounding to me that any writer would first of all write about a monkey rodeo act and secondly, we're supposed to believe that the writer doesn't know whether Whiplash the monkey is a hero or victim. Ridiculous.

Apparently, Texas has a famous monkey named Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey.

Lived here my entire life... and I've JUST heard about him. 18 years.
