I have found unpacking videos fun but not necessarily informative unless you were considering buying the product online and want to see what would be in store for you once you receive it. I however, bought this Cowboy Studio kit directly from the outlet in Mississauga, Ontario, it is the;

I didn't put a lot of thought into this video since I really wanted to open the kit and get to work. However, I set up my Sony Bloggie, pushed record, and went about the unpacking. It is my first attempt at a video. You may ask why I didn't use the video capability of my DSLR, and to be frank, I really have not explored that part of the camera since all my work so far has been stills. I imagine that I will look into the video at some point, just not now.

I will caution anyone buying this system, be very careful opening all the parts the first time. The light weight joins could be overwhelmed and bend if pressure is not correctly and evenly applied. Be prepared to file down some of the plastic on the knobs so you won't cut yourself in the field. Some of the brass fittings may need to be test tightened without the rod to ensure a tight fit with hand pressure. I used Vice Grips and a cloth, in and out in quarter turn increments until I was confident I could do it by hand. Thank you for watching and have a great day! - Rick
