“Tell me one reason why I should trust you.” And trying to convince him he was dying wasn’t good enough. The stranger really needed to explain his ulterior plans behind all that scenario -- though Batman could still deny his help, even if he was honest.

One thing was certain -- if he didn’t get any medical attention for the next fifteen minutes, he would die.

“Because if you don’t you will bleed out before you could ever reach a hospital.” His tone was very matter-of-fact. He had no real reason to help the Batman, under different circumstances they may have even been on opposite sides. Raphael was far from an innocent man. He rarely cared if someone lived or died. And yet, his doctorly instincts still kicked in.

“Now you could either stand still and let me patch the wound, or die alone, slumped against the wall in some alleyway.”

“You don’t have to.” Batman helped her to get up from the ground after a battle against a common enemy. “You should focus on your own wounds now.”

      Jaz glances down at her white shirt, noticing a bit of blood on it, now that Batman points out that she’s wounded. “It’s fine,” she signs, shrugging it off. “I heal faster than I used to.”

 “We’re the same; you an’ I. Take awake the suit, the mask, and the laughter an’ we’re both the same person.” There was a shrug of his shoulders. “If only in name.”

         “--You’re a real piece of work, y’know that Bruce!” From the start of his words and the way he furiously entered the cave--a rare occurrence these days--that a storm of shouting was coming. Trust, or lack there of anyway, had been the main factor in the teen’s falling out with Bruce. This in part drove him to seek guidance from Dick instead, and stay as far away from Wayne Manor as possible. 

         The things he learned while under Grayson’s tutelage is what possessed him into coming face to face with the old man again--he wasn’t really there to talk he just wanted to let out some steam that had been building up over time. “Mind telling me why you never thought to inform me about a guy named Jason Todd? Ring any bells for you? Oh I have another one, what about maybe--your own son, Damian?”
