haha my cowon d2 decided to join the crowd. yes i get it, the USB cable was faulty, i don’t know where i got it, i’m awfully sorry, but can we not die in this dramatic fashion? no but seriously, cowon d2, have some consideration, please? no okay yes you were the first to show signs of near death even two years ago, yes i know, but still, like, please don’t die, well at least not now? because i need a new phone and a new desktop computer, and that’s urgent, and while my desktop is suddenly sponsored (thanks! :)) still, throwing money on another cowon (and after two cowons i will not touch another brand with a stick, omg the sound) is just not one of my priorities right now.
well okay but on the other hand, the m2 is out now which is exactly like d2 only with more buttons, not just the touch screen, and that’s what’s been missed because you just can’t navigate the touch screen in your pocket. i had looked at cowons before but they didn’t have a suitable replacement model until these days. but on yet another hand will i need an mp3 player even because i’m most likely getting a sony xperia z1 compact which is said to have great sound? hmm.
(oh fuck, techradar says “awful low light photography”, oh god NOT AGAIN. awful low light is awful.)
oh. suddenly, the d2 is not so decidedly dead again?? how come, i don’t get it, but yeah quality devices do that every now and then, when you leave them alone after a breakdown, they might start working, well that’s exactly what it did!? hmm. happy for now of course, but now that i can connect it to the computer again (it wouldn’t be recognized before), i might go for a firmware upgrage. and also open it up and attach the insides to the case properly. see how that works out.
