OKAY Gundam thoughts for the day. I don't Watch Things often so I apologize for how surface level I'm gonna be here, shaping my thoughts on anime, tv, movies etc is still kind of a new thing for me.

With friends I watched 4 episodes of Witch from Mercury. (including the prologue) I'd watched the first three episodes like a year ago with people who didn't ever continue it, so I'm glad to finally be getting around to it now in a better environment for it! I think one of the big striking things about Witch from Mercury so far is just how fun all the characters are. Suletta and Miorine are obviously really good, but all these side character weirdos who all have insanely good designs and are just making every scene they're in so fun. Lots to really love there. Also Aerial is just such a sick ass Gundam. Big big fan.

On my own, today I watched 5 episodes of Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) and I'm gonna just repost my twitter thoughts.

Gundam 1979 is very good so far. This is easily the oldest, uhhh, anything I've ever watched, second to John Carpenter's 'The Thing', so it's really cool to see older animation approaches. A big noteworthy thing I've noticed is the audio. Microphones clipping constantly, inconsistent volume, etc. Stuff you take for granted these days in like Big Production stuff. Mobile Suit Gundam is still a great watch so far despite this, don't get me wrong, just a neat facet of the whole production I wasn't expecting.

I'm very excited for our next Gundam Musou stream, will be a lot of fun to talk more about my experiences engaging with Gundam since our last stream. This is definitely a franchise that, from an outside perspective, doesn't feel like it could possibly be as multifaceted and compelling as it is, but god it really is something special.

My Citrine colors are very Scary, I love this freak easily one of my favorite frames in the game atm. Really hope she gets a ridiculous deluxe skin soon.

it's immensely wild to see the state i'm at with warframe. this time last year, hell even the year before that if you asked me what i thought of the game i'd tell you it's shit, impossible to learn, etc.

now i'm a very solidly established end-game player who has put i think about 300 hours into the game over the last two months oops. and i've gotten to make friends and spend a lot of time with a lot of people since returning to this game.

moo and whatnot, the cowtism is strong.

Finished leveling Fortuna yesterday and it feels so good to nearly be done with that awful content lmfao. I’ll probably need to do a decent amount of Orb Kills soon but I’m otherwise basically done. Free from Flossy Sawgaws.

Deimos has been done for a while, and Cetus is done in two days. Big moments for me.

Really been wishing there was a good Warframe discord bot for invasion alerts lmfao, the one I tried (Genesis) has no documentation and was impossible to get working 😔
