Smooth fox terrier or Irish terrier?

so, knowing nothing about these guys other than the fact that they are terriers, my gut instinct is to go with the smooth fox because 1 - smooth face with no messy beard to maintain, and 2 - they have such long faces! wee little snoots. excellent noses, A+, Give Me That Dog.
