How to Control the Coyote Population | Why I Don't Feel Bad About Killin...
Me & FoxPro Field Staffer John Alden, hooked up on a couple coyote sets last night! We've been talking about getting together for years but finally we just said enough is enough, let's go. We started in Stanly County near the Millingport area and called a double right off! We were using coyote vocalizations and these 2 males came in to check out what was going on! We were there a whole 9 minutes before they popped out in the field. As I spotted them enter the field I told John where they were coming from and he said get ready! "Ready for what? I got a shotgun and their 300yds+ away?!" It wasn't but a second before that suppressed .243 was doing it's job! TACK. TACK, TACK, TACK! Done son! Dropped the first coyote in his tracks and then shot the second as he was running away. All I could do was smile while looking through the thermal. The next 2 sets were no shows. No one else wanted to play for the night but with 2 already in the truck, we were still all smiles! What a awesome hunt and a great time with john. #704style #coyotedown #coyote #coyotehunting #predatorcalls #predatorhunting #callingpredators #callingcoyotes. #coyotepopulationcontrol #stanlycounty #visitstanly @visit_stanly #huntingnc
