Warm and comforting gluten-free spiced apple cider made in a crock pot. Perfect for cozy gatherings and cold winter days.
Ingredients: 12 cups of apple cider. 2 apples, sliced. 2 oranges, sliced. 3 cinnamon sticks. 10 whole cloves. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1 teaspoon ground allspice. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Pour the apple cider into a crock pot. Add the sliced apples and oranges. Place the cinnamon sticks and cloves into a spice bag or cheesecloth and add to the crock pot. Stir in the brown sugar, ground nutmeg, ground allspice, and vanilla extract. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the cider is hot and infused with spices. Remove the spice bag or cheesecloth with the cinnamon sticks and cloves. Serve the gluten-free spiced apple cider hot, garnished with additional apple slices or cinnamon sticks if desired. Enjoy!
