It was hilarious watching Western journalists and some other folks throw funerals for the Left in India with headlines like 'NO LEFT IN INDIA SINCE 1977' etc. and now in Tamiladu of all places the Left is getting into government with Vijay lol!

BJP/Modi/Amit Shah were getting a little bit excited for a hung assembly and the communists came to the rescue. I hope they are able to wield power to bring about reform/changes and raising wages for several striking workers, including those from the sanitation department.

I wish people would stop the drama/panic/scaremongering about the left losing in Kerala!

This is has been happening for some 50 years, where the Left and the Congress party alternate with each other every 5 years come election season. This is normal for Keralites!

It was just last time that the Communists won consecutively, bucking a trend, and now it's gone back to normal. If you are worried about this, then don't worry - the left will be back after 5 years.

All these articles from the West and Al Jazeera having funerals for the Left in India because the CPI (M) lost an election - which they regularly do - is hilarious.

And it's a sorry state of affairs that the state of Kerala carries the burden of being the only state in the whole country of having a viable Left party, that, when they lose an election there's a dozen articles bemoaning the loss of the Left in India.
