a/n: guys, i did something again instead of getting proper rest. love y'all.
Shunned, shamed, and isolated. That was the policy for your kind.
Humans.
The Yokai that live on the surface world above the humans jeer at the mere mention of the word.
Humans are disgusting and filthy, and an alien existence to them. Even the slightest glimose would scare them, and they'd call the exterminators to get rid of any human they come across.
Instead of snouts and beaks, humans have noses and mouths. Instead of having nystic powers like the majority of Yokai, humans were powerless, fending for themselves in the simplest (and mostly desperate) of ways.
To them, humans are an existence that can be snuffed out any time, a bug that's easily squashed.
But humans also have advantages of their own. With deft hands and able bodies, they learn to grow and harvest, using the Earth's natutal resources to sustain themselves and create objects of beauty.
Thus, Yokai and Humankind formed a truce, an agreement that is never to be broken for the sake of both their kind.
Humans were given the world below the surface, while Yokai freely roamed the land above. Neither were allowed to cross over to the other's land, and neither wanted to break the peace.
This is the world you grew up in, a segregated one where dirty looks are thrown your way, muttered slurs under the breath of high-ranking Yokai that pay a visit to the world below every once in a while to maintain appearances.
The peace is fragile, one that's easily shattered.
Who would've thought that all it took to make it crumble is a simple meeting between you, the Chancellor's daughter, and a Yokai from the noble Hamato Clan.

Hey there! Welcome to a new post series that I’m starting called CP Ideas of the Month! One of my favorite aspects of the game is the creativity and concept of coming up with ideas to contribute to the community. Because of this, I spend a lot of time in the #CPIdeas hashtag on Twitter. Seeing such great ideas inspired me to create these monthly posts.
Each one of these posts will most likely consist of four or five different ideas for Club Penguin. They could be from me, they could be from other players, or it could be a mix of the two. I will always credit the creator of the ideas featured! If you’re reading this and have an idea you’d like to submit or see featured, just DM me or mention me on Twitter with your idea! You can find my contact information here. Now, on to this month’s ideas!
1. Famous Puffle Party - by @antuninhoys
When I saw this idea, I immediately started imagining the amazing things Club Penguin could do with this concept. There’s a lot of different directions you could go in to carry it out. In the image provided by the creator, you can see puffles dressed up like mascots. That’s one direction you could take it in, perhaps having the mascots all be transformed into puffles for the party, maybe you have to help turn them back, or maybe they’re like that on purpose and it’s just for fun. Another direction I thought of was having famous puffles from around the island, like Yarr (Rockhopper’s red puffle) and Darwin (Gary’s blue dinosaur puffle) and maybe even the orange puffle in the box dimension or the green puffle from the Night Club, be featured at the party. They could be the ones giving you tasks to do to help them out! Overall, the concept is full of opportunity and is something I hope Club Penguin notices and looks in to.
2. Mint Green Puffle Color - by @MiAzevedo71
I love this puffle idea! I feel like lately, Club Penguin has been focusing on creating very unique, crazy puffles, like the wild puffles or the ghost puffle. All of those puffles are super cool and the ideas are amazing, but it would be nice to maybe return to the simpler times when puffles were merely different colors. I personally adore this color. It’s so pretty and it’s actually quite different from the already existing green puffle. Maybe due to its simplicity, it could be a puffle available to non-members too.
3. Baymax Puffle (Big Hero 6) - by @Super_Tails_
Of course this idea contradicts my last proposal of the return to simpler puffles, but this one is so adorable! However, in order for it to be released, there’d have to be a Big Hero 6 takeover party or something along those lines, but if Club Penguin ever decides to do that, I sincerely hope they jump on the opportunity to make this little guy! The design is so simple and cute, and it’s very creative! I haven’t seen the movie, but from what I’ve heard, Baymax definitely has the same character traits as many puffles, like loyalty and a good heart. The puffle version of him would fit right in!
4. Snow on Club Penguin - by @IdeasForPenguin
I’m sure we’ve all noticed that there’s snow EVERYWHERE on Club Penguin, but how did the snow get there? It would only make sense if every once and awhile, there were a few flakes falling here and there. This would be such a fun feature because it makes the game more realistic and it would be a fun surprise to log into and see that it was snowing! It wouldn’t be snowing 24/7 but at random to make it more fun. As shown in the picture, it would be cool to have some snow piling up a bit too.
That’s it for September’s featured ideas! I hope you enjoyed them and want to see them happen too. I know that 3/4 were puffle themed, but I felt all of them were genuinely good ideas. Check back next month for October’s featured ideas. Make sure to submit me any ideas that you have!
