Captain Murphy - Between Villains (Ft. Viktor Vaughn, Earl Sweatshirt & Thundercat)
Adult Swim's newest single has just been released, and it the one I've been waiting for, Between Villains. With some of hip hops most praised underground rappers on one track what could be better. There's Flying Lotus on production, along with his Brainfeeder bassist Thundercat who also lends some background vocals. FlyLo also drops a killer (and also my favorite) verse on the track under his rap alias Captain Murphy. Already sounds like an amazing song right? Well lets not forget rap god DOOM, as Viktor Vaughn lays down a dark intro, setting the bar high as the first villain on the song. Which leaves young rap prodigy Earl Sweatshirt to try stand up and prove himself "between these villains" He does very well and its actaully my second favorite verse (sorry DOOM) and we are left with a dark crooning song over an eery piano loop a killer bars from 3 of raps best.
