blue lace agate: my muse’s favorite form of communication (verbal, letters, texting, etc.)
On a good mental health day, he prefers verbal face-to-face conversation. Those days are rare for him though. So his second choice are emails or letters folded and slipped to people. Never snail mail if he can help it, that shit is too formal and outdated as fuck. Most often he’ll use texts. They’re easiest. He hates them. It makes it too simple for him to say things rashly and fuck up.
hematite: how squeamish my muse is
Nathan is and isn’t squeamish. Okay, hear me out. So, the sight of blood and gore and other traditionally defined ‘disturbing’ imagery doesn’t put him off. He’s drawn to those kind of things. Horror is his go to movie genre and the subjects of his photographs tend to border on disturbing. However, he is situationally squeamish. If that’s a phrase. It is now, because that’s what he is. He reacts viscerally to the things that do disturb him. He’s an extremely emotional guy despite his efforts not to be and things affect him deeply. When he can detach, he’s not a bit squeamish, but if it’s a scenario that jars him firmly into reality, he gets violently sick.
pyrite: a physical health headcanon
As we know, Sean Prescott prefers that his son receive the treatment method of pills being thrown at him to fix surface level issues like a band-aid. This means Nathan ends up taking pills to cancel out the side effects of other pills and then more pills to cancel the side effects of the new pills and so on and so on. He takes pills to ease his Restless Leg Syndrome which was caused by prolonged usage of his antipsychotics and antidepressants. Even when Nathan is staying on his meds and not mixing them with anything recreational, he’s at risk of overdosing. Which is way he doesn’t take half the pills he’s prescribed even when he’s committed to being better.
