Now, he had both General Hux and Captain Phasma who he trusted to a full extent to do their parts. It was simply their Supreme Leader who caused this mess, in Dopheld’s mind. “It’s good to see you back, Captain,” he greeted, a soft smile on his face. There had been the tempt to go see her in the medbay, as many of his fellow officers had, but he felt like it would’ve ruined the mystique of the captain. He didn’t need to see her face to know she was someone to trust, and he was beyond glad to see her back to work.

CHROME DOME was supposed to be dead. finn and bb-8 had told him of the captain’s final stand. how she nearly killed his friends and would have had his astromech not interfered. her body should have become STARDUST and yet he stares up at mirrored armor, his reflection staring back at him in the portion of armor that covers her legs. he’s fearful. afraid of this ENTITY who was definetly still alive. armor rumored to have been FORGED from the emperor’s ship covering a body that should have been broken and mangled. it crushed his ribs early when her boot found his chest. knocked the air out of him before he had the chance to fire his blaster. 

he’d be found. his HOPE and FAITH in his friends was strong, far stronger then anything the captain could say to him to break that. poe is yanked up right, body protesting such quick movement as stormtroopers grab his arms. chin rises as he stands defiantly before her. that SPARK in his eyes burning brightly. “fire seems to be a trend in our meetings. looks like we both survived the flames.” he didn’t think he’d see her again after his time on jakku, certainly not again with her death. he was WRONG. 

“you won’t win. the resistance is stronger then before.” their numbers had grown smaller, allies lost as they gave in to FEAR and yet a new hope had joined them. rey. rey was the key to bringing the first order down. they’d never win. the troopers grip tightens pulling his limbs apart. they knew where he was, his transmission made it to the falcon before his ship was brought down. he only needed to hold on until the x-wings roamed about the sky and brought him HOME.

      hands clasped behind his back, kylo simply listens as her footsteps approach, keeping his gaze fixed ahead and his shoulders set straight. hopefully, she brings only good news. “report.”
