The goings on at the center of All Minds Burn are giving me some Warframe vibes and I like it.

The suspended skeletons bring to mind what happens when you subsume one of your Warframes and the description of the mass closer to the end of the scene fits the stuff growing on Deimos.

There's probably some mutual inspiration here between certain John Carpenter movies, Stargate, and the Alien franchise, etc. but that first part of the scene immediately reminded me of the Helminth.
