Time for me to be annoying again, I need to know the state of the dragons of Araman? Do they exist? Is the Cormoray Sundered House connected to them? Are there Dragonborn? Do they count as Beastfolk?

Do the dragons know that I love them???

These are my top priorities right now.

okay listen i was talking to @quinn-of-aebradore and @wanderingbasilisk about my netherdeep blorbo and long story short (insert spoilers here) and we got to talking about FF7 AND THEn I came to the conclusion that Matt is such a a FF7 nerd that that LOOK:

I have been seeing lots of theories about the island of rumblecusp and I think two things are likely: the island is inhabited by a Morkoth (kinda like a beholder but snatches up pieces of different planes), and it/they has either a beacon or one of the new Vestiges on the island with it.

Oh my gosh, my favorite thing about the past two weeks has been everyone’s theories about who or what is on the island. It’s been so funny.

Also, yes! After doing all the reading, there is a Morkoth has DEFINITELY taken over here. 

On a maybe more unrealistic note, this is also what I think is most likely for how Matt’s going to tie Fjord’s backstory in. Which sounds weird. But Morkoth are spawned by a god and I could totally see Matt adjusting that to fit into his world and make this an offshot of Uk’otoa or something.

On a scary note: the Morkoth is what scares me the most. More than the Bodak they’re going to face at the start of the next episode. Because it can cast Dispel on its lair action without using a spell slot and since they are mostly underwater, this is probably going to happen once a turn. On the one hand, it’s kind of nice that it’s sort of a known quantity, unlike other lair actions of the past. But it also really sucks because someone could die really fast. It can also cast Dispel on one of its turns and has 7 slots it can use for that. But Matt wouldn’t have to use higher spell slots, because Water Breathing is a 3rd level anyway and ugh. Man I get stressed thinking about this battle lol

Also, I didn’t even think about one of the new Vestiges being on the island with it! But they’re about the right level for him to start introducing those. I love this idea. Especially if its been on Rumblecusp for a while and loves precious things.

I’m really vibing with the potential of Thaisha x Vaelus, but if Thaisha starts a relationship with Julian at some point that will be such a funny conversation with Hal.

I’m so worried we’re gonna lose Garren next episode. I don’t have a solid reason except that he’s “too old for this shit” and has a -3 Dex.

Is Julien going to get the Dark Gift: "Living Shadow" from the Ravenloft book? Or do we think he’s just gonna be an Echo Knight?

*Just as in, it’s the more obvious choice but I love Echo Knights so that would be cool af

I went to sleep at the break last night and missed a lot apparently lol. But if I'm correct and they're doing one shots for VM and M9, then is it too much to hope for a Darrington Brigade diversion one shot?
