(This also makes me very excited, because Medb I don't know if you've read Lobo's Interlude, but it reveals that he wants to try and find his descendants with Blanca, his mate! And if RQ could find the descendant of HIS wolf family, I'm sure he could find Lobo's! Ahhhh, this Valentine's scene is delivering on so! Many! Levels!)

ANYWAY. If you have a spot open for a Valentine's request, I'd like to ask for one. Actually, I've had this request in mind for a while, but I've been waiting until you were less busy, and now I can combine it with this perfect new addition to the Chaldea Pet Squad. My request is simple: Gudako introduces RQ to the sphinx cubs, along with her new furry blessing, and they all play together. I want sugary sweet fluff, Medb. Make my teeth ROT.

I must confess, I'm relieved to see you posting again! Like, in general. You kinda went a bit silent over the past month or two, and I was worried. I hope you've been doing well, so please take your time with any writing if you need it! I'm dateless today, so dad and I are gonna make a cake for ourselves and celebrate familial love. I did take a little break. I’ve been easing back on posting. I had a couple friends that I have a few stupid arguments and I found that they really enjoy spending more time chatting with someone who really dislikes me in this fandom. I still write plenty, but I stopped posting for a bit because I found that I really needed to post because it made me happy, not because it made anyone else happy. Water under the bridge. It is nice to go slow with my new research groups at work up and running. Work before pleasures~

Nonetheless, you’ll see plenty more around here. It’ll just be as a more relaxed pace.

*dramatically collapsed upon a fainting couch* Medb! Not too terribly long ago, JP FGO had another batch of Interludes released, and guess who got himself one? Yup, we got a Roma Interlude and it's good. Well, at least to me it is. It strikes the right balance of "haha funny YMCA man antics" and "being Rome is suffering, actually", and it's giving me the feelies. Also there's more Boudica character development and that's Good Shit. You can find it over on the FGOGuide subreddit! If you didn't know, there's tons of translations and event guides (fittingly enough) over there, so do take a look if you haven't already!

Ohhh those are some good looking prompts Medb. I'll be eating good while I wait for my turn. And you know what? Since I'm here, I want to share something with you! It's something I discovered not too long ago, I was doing research about IRL Roma (or rather the IRL mythology, at least) and I discovered something interesting! Something that actually kinda validates my headcanon on how he approaches relationships? Medb is very smart and historical and might already know this, but it turns out that Rome had a bit of a population crisis when the country was young! And in my eyes, that would add to my idea that he's ironically romantically naive. Because like, if you're focused on the idea of sex for the sake of reproduction, then having sex for any other reason (AKA loving, romantic reasons) is probably going to be neglected. It's like the difference between eating one of those vitamin-heavy military meals and splurging on a gourmet meal: one you eat because you have to, the other you eat because you WANT to. Does that make sense? (Also, in another stroke of irony, it appears that he wasn't actually successful in fathering a child himself, but that's only from my cursory research. But wouldn't something like that be mentioned if it happened? Medb why are Greco Roman myths like this. Give me CONSISTENCY dammit!)

Ah, welcome to consistency hell. You should see the academic hell that is disputing myth bloodlines and marriages and stuff. (I will rant about Brynhild/Gudrun relations for example or a lot of other myths such as the validity of the tale of Sarcastic Halli).

This is neat about Romy-Q. It’s been a really, really long time since I read much of any Greek myths. I tend to stick to Homer for the vague Sumerian and Egyptian myths bungled in there. Odysseus? You mean OG faker? It’s okay though. I love him.

FuwaFuwaMedb! I'm talking with a friend about the manga I've been reading lately, and it's gotten me curious. What manga are you into? What anime do you watch? Anything coming up that you're excited about? For me, I'm hyped that the fourth volume of Wotakoi is FINALLY coming out, it's been delayed like twice and it's made me salty as hell. Also I'm getting caught up on Delicious in Dungeon and MAN. It is just so damn good. The worldbuilding in that series is fantastic. Also Spy x Family is GR8.

My main manga that I’ve been following is Made in Abyss. I love the show and I decided that reading the manga was needed. It’s been a trip, I tell ya. I’ve been reading a lot of other ones though. I like Ways of the House Husband, The Vengeful White Cat Lounges on the Dragon King’s Lap, Beware the Villainess, Youngest Princess, The Savior’s Book Cafe in Another World- Oh! And Ari introduced me to Cats Own the World. I like that one a lot as well. Ari’s discord keeps a running excel spreadsheet of the mangas that we all read and it’s fun.

There was a great manga that made me saltier about Mephistopheles in FGO that was called Frau Faust. SUPER RECOMMEND. It’s so good. It’s by the creator of Ancient Magus Bride.

Anime... I have an odd taste in Anime. Most of the time I like the deeper anime that come on TV. I like Made In Abyss, Noein, Stein’s Gate, Magus Bride, but sometimes I like other shows like Pop Team Epic or How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift. I’ll give anything a shot. I love Yuru Camp too! Very wholesome!

But also! I have a message for your dear Ari, who lamented that nobody appreciates the curry boys. So I just want to say: /I/ appreciate them! Very much so, in fact. (I call them the Bollywood Boys thanks to TouhouSniper98's videos though) I adore all the brothers with the protagonist, though I admit I have a SLIGHT preference for GudaJuna, because their dynamic is top tier. I've been blessed to have them in my Chaldea, and am patiently waiting for LB3 and Junao+Jinako+Ash. You're not alone Ari!

You’re awakening a dangerous beastie, Cra-chan. She is the epitome of curry/bollywood brothers love. She saves her quartz in ways that sends a shiver down my spine. Her eyes are steadfast on them.

Hello Medb! I've decided to bite the bullet and give you a Roma request that I've been sitting on. Mostly because I'm not having the best day (being woken up by an amber alert alarm and having TWO spider encounters will do that) but also because the muse isn't giving me any ideas for this concept other than the fact that I want it. So! Basically, I want RQ to meet and stan for Lobo. Because he was raised by wolves? And I feel like he'd be "Poachers are NOT ROMA and will catch these hands"

I hate spiders so much. Oh my goodness. I hope you burned them or flushed them down the loo. I hate when I have to sweep them to the plug in the shower and then you’re always glancing at the little plug like “Please don’t come back like that goo from Ghost Busters Two. I will cry.
