That’s a toss up between Hardboiled Wonderland And The End Of The World by Haruki Murakami and Ocean At The End Of The Lane by Neil Gaiman

G: What’s your least favorite book?  Least favorite author?

The first one that comes to mind is Maestro by Peter Goldsworthy. I had to read it for english back in high school and I thought it was the more uninteresting, irritating book I’d ever read.

When people read my writing and tell me how great it is

Writing between important plot points. There’s a fine line between being overly descriptive and immersive and I really struggle with that. A big part of the reason that my works take forever to finish is because I have trouble keeping it interesting between each major event
