sorry, i know this ask is probably really weird and out of the blue… but i would like you to know that my entire house now celebrates tachikiryu tuesdays. at first i started saying it as a funny little quip like “guess what day it is? lmao” but by chapter three, i was DEEPLY invested. tachikiryu tuesday became serious business. i work a miserable 9-5 salary job and every monday in the office, i’m like “tomorrow is tachikiryu tuesday” and pen an hour into my schedule to read the new chapter. everyone in my house now greets each other on tuesdays with “hey, it’s tachikiryu tuesday” but only half of us have played yakuza. i don’t think everyone even knows what tachibana looks like. but it’s still tachikiryu tuesday for them. i was giving several housemates the rundown on ch 21 a couple weeks ago (since we have little debrief meetings after a new chapter drops) and ever since, everyone keeps saying “my favorite yakuza character is mike” and keeps asking “where’s mike” whenever they see me play y7 in the living room. they see a new character on screen and go “well… he’s okay i guess… but he’s no mike.” they are fully aware he only exists only in your fic. tachikiryu tuesdays is a lifestyle and this whole house is living it!

Actually, funny thing is! I started writing this fic just before I got my first job (and it's in retail too LMFAO) I kind of do something similar on Thursdays when Bog's fic updates and I use my two fifteen minute breaks pushed together and hope I have enough time to read it all before I go back to the sales floor LOL

I'm SO glad Mike has been well received in your household and it's so nice hearing about the little debriefs per chapter dropping.

I'm really happy that my silly little hurt/comfort fix it fic has been sort of a bonding experience/lifestyle for y'all ^_^
