I just realized, I don't think we've seen a lot of crack ships from you. I want to hear all about your favorite crack ships, they're so much fun to ramble about!
I guess that’s because I don’t have too many crack!ships, to be honest. XD I’m pretty terrible at making up headcanons and things for character that haven’t interacted/interacted much or even met, so I don’t end up crack!shipping too hard. If someone convinces me (like with Lillie/Femio), I can get behind them, but I’m generally just not a crack!shipper, I’m afraid! I like building off what exists in canon to get me behind ships the most, because then I feel I have something real to build off of instead of something made up by fans, you know? Which isn’t to say that I don’t love headcanons—because I do, but it’s for that reason that characters that have little to no background/interaction don’t interest me too much. I can be drawn into them if they’re fleshed out well, but if it comes to fleshing them out myself, I get too frustrated and anxious. That’s why you don’t see much post-series Ruetho stuff from me. I’m not good at thinking up things like what his Kingdom would be like or what he’d be like with his full heart. I get too anxious about making them feel like OCs.
The only one I really had in the past was Reno/Tifa from Final Fantasy VII. It birthed on a forum I was a part of back in like, 2004, and through all the headcanons, fanart, fic, etc shared there, I ended up crack!shipping them really hard, despite being a Cloud/Tifa shipper. That’s about the only strong crack!ship of mine that I can think of, though.
