Don't delete it! Maybe just add a chapter that recaps the end of it? So people have some closure? And taking it out of the series is definitely a better choice. It would be a shame to delete amazing writing even if it is incomplete :(

I’m not sure how to write a summary of the end, but that’s probably the best way to go about it. Thank you, btw!  You’re very sweet.  You guys super made it worth it, writing fanfic, the last couple years!  I was really overwhelmed by the positive response and support I got, and it really motivated me to write way more than I would have if I never posted stuff online.

As someone subscribed I personally would like maybe a quick summary as a "final chapter" and then mark everything as complete, possibly with a warning about the sudden ending in a summary or description.

But hey, you do you! Go where your muse leads and take care of yourself!

Thank you for letting me know what you think!  It’s always hard for me to guess what’s best or what people would prefer in this kind of situation, so I usually just like, disappear and avoid it.  Not good!  

An ending summary and a note in the description (plus marking it complete and removing it from the series while leaving it on ao3) is probably the best route to go.
