Today's Walking Photo: Of course I have no way of knowing for sure that this elaborate map/diagram was drafted in the middle of American History while the artist was supposed to be absorbing the complexities of the Industrial Revolution…but it’s much more satisfying than imagining it happening in the breakfast nook at home.
Click for the larger version so you can look upon the fearsome dragon in all its menacing horror, and puzzle over the oddly linear arrangement of guards situated…behind the town hall. Also, that name? Noen Perch? Derch? I’m thinking that “Noen” is supposed to be “Neon,” but I won’t say I’m exactly solid on that. Finally, magic items are all well and good, obviously, but WHAT ARE THEIR PROPERTIES?! Call me lazy, but I’m not about to go trudging around the outer perimeters of Noen Perch looking for magic items unless I know what might be in it for me.

Day 3557
Opposite, over all ingredients with cracked the opposite wall
Your own mind is your biggest prison.
You cannot run from it, you fail ignoring it and you cannot hide.
Face it. Over and over again. No matter how excruciating it might seems.
Tear down those rotten walls that lull you into a false sense of security.
Someday you will behold the beauty of freedom that lays ahead of you.
