Day 9 - Tasmania
Today was meant to be dedicated to an 8 hour hike to the Cradle Mountain summit, number one on my list while in Taz, but the weather was horrible. We decided to split up so me, Baptiste and Nate did a 3 hour hike in the cold wind and rain to the Marion lookout. We made it to the top to see a beautiful view, and got a whole lot of clouds. It was freezing, but we did it, and hurried back to the visitor center to dry off and get warm. We ahd walked around Crator lake and Dove lake by the end, and got some good views of the waterfalls and the lakes near the bottom. We left and headed to Queenstown to camp. Our plan was to get some good food and cake to celebrate Elena's birthday, but there was absolutely NOTHING in Queenstown.
